Lee Min Ho Ingin Dapat Pujian di Personal Taste

Dikutip dari Tabloid Bintang Indonesia Edisi 986 | Tahun XX | Minggu Pertama April 2010 [Edisi Online: Senin, 5 April 2010] — Para Minoz (sebutan penggemar berat Lee Min Ho-red) pasti berbahagia, bisa kembali menyaksikan akting Lee Min Ho. Mulai 31 Maret lalu, serial terbaru yang dibintangi Lee Min Ho dan Son Ye Jin, Personal Taste, tayang di stasiun TV MBC Korea.




Sebelumnya, seperti yang biasa dilakukan setiap produksi serial drama, para kru dan pemain mengadakan acara jumpa pers dan ritual syukuran, dihadiri Lee Min Ho dan Son Ye Jin sebagai dua pemeran utama, aktor dan aktris pendukung seperti Kim Ji Suk dan Wang Ji Hye, CEO dari Yigim Production, penulis skenario Lee Sae In, dan segenap kru syuting.

Acara syukuran dilakukan di Yangju Cultural Village, di rumah bergaya tradisional Korea yang menjadi latar utama serial ini, sedangkan jumpa pers dilakukan pada 25 Maret di Grand Hyatt.

Sebagai bintang utama yang namanya hangat diperbincangkan setelah kesuksesannya memerankan tokoh Goo Jun Pyo di serial Boys Before Flowers (BBF), Lee Min Ho tentu mendapat porsi sorotan publik paling banyak.

Harapan para penonton terhadap aktingnya tinggi. Dalam jumpa pers, aktor jangkung yang pernah Bintang temui di Singapura ini merasakan tekanan yang cukup besar.

“Saya sempat kesulitan memainkan karakter di drama ini. Saya merasakan tekanan karena saya ingin mendapatkan pujian atas akting yang baik dari penonton,” akunya.

Seperti apa karakter yang diperankan Lee Min Ho di Personal Taste? “Dia arsitek yang sangat kompeten dan saat harus bekerja ia sangat perfeksionis, saking perfeksionisnya ia sering disangka seorang yang dingin. Dia tak ingin diganggu atau mengganggu orang lain,” jelas Lee Min Ho.

Seperti yang pernah kami ulas, Lee Min Ho bermain sebagai Jeon Jin Ho, pemuda yang mengaku gay demi mendapatkan izin tinggal di rumah idamannya yang tak lain milik Park Gae In (Son Ye Jin).

Jin Ho yang telanjur jatuh cinta pada rumah Gae In yang unik terpaksa mengaku gay, karena Gae In yang pernah disakiti mantan kekasihnya trauma dengan pria normal. Keduanya akhirnya tinggal dalam satu rumah dan dari situ muncul kejadian-kejadian kocak.

Ada sedikit kemiripan antara karakter Jeon Jin Ho dan Goo Jun Pyo, namun Lee Min Ho tak terlalu memedulikan kesamaan itu. Lebih penting baginya berkonsentrasi memainkan karakter sesuai keinginan skenario.

“Benar, dua karakter ini memiliki persamaan, tapi saya tak terlalu memperdulikan bagaimana caranya membedakan karakter ini dengan Goo Jun Pyo. Saya lebih memilih berkonsentrasi membuat karakternya sesuai dengan yang ada di skenario. Jika harus membandingkan dengan Goo Jun Pyo, Jeon Jin Ho seorang pria dewasa dan penuh pemikiran yang memiliki kebanggaan pada pekerjaannya,” kata Lee Min Ho.

Setelah sukses melejitkan BBF, Lee Min Ho tak seperti Kim Bum yang langsung menyambung aktingnya ke drama-drama baru. Brand ambassador produk kecantikan Etude House ini butuh waktu setahun sebelum berkiprah di drama baru. Toh selama setahun itu artis kelahiran 22 Juni 1987 ini tak benar-benar beristirahat.

“Saya memiliki jadwal padat di rumah dan di luar negeri setelah drama Boys Before Flowers, jadi sebenarnya saya hanya istirahat selama tiga bulan. Selama istirahat, saya memikirkan dengan serius bagaimana caranya membuat comeback drama yang sesuai dengan imej. Pada akhirnya, saya memutuskan bermain di drama yang menyenangkan, dan memilih Personal Taste sebagai drama terbaru saya,” akunya.

Berhubung sebelumnya ia main di drama yang sukses luar biasa dan memberikan pengaruh cukup besar pada dunia hiburan, kali ini ia berharap serialnya tak kalah berhasil. Paling tidak, perolehan ratingnya memuaskan.

Mampukah Personal Taste menyaingi perolehan rating drama-drama yang sedang populer di Korea seperti Cinderella’s Stepsister di stasiun KBS atau Prosecutor Princess milik SBS yang saat ini mendominasi perolehan rating?

Meski tak ingin banyak mengumbar janji, Lee Min Ho tak memungkiri, ia ingin serial barunya ini mendapat rating bagus.

“Sejujurnya, saya tak bisa terlalu banyak memikirkan soal kompetitor lain karena saya hanya konsentrasi untuk memainkan peran saya di drama. Tapi pasti akan menyenangkan jika rating episode pertamanya 18 persen, lalu meningkat satu persen setiap episode. Jika begitu, rating episode terakhirnya akan sekitar 34 persen, karena drama kami memiliki total 16 episode,” pungkasnya.
